Taras Kytsmey

President and Co-Founder

Mr. Kytsmey is the President and Co-Founder of SoftServe. In the early days of SoftServe, Taras was instrumental in the delivery of more than 25 software projects, mostly in Information Systems, based-on client-server architecture. As the President, he is responsible for the development of the company strategy, structure, and human resources policies, as well as managing operations. Taras is a frequent speaker on panels related to the offshore software development industry in Ukraine, as SoftServe is a co-founder of the IT Ukraine Association and a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine. Taras graduated from the Applied Mathematics Faculty of Lviv National Ivan Franko University and obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science with his thesis in Fuzzy Database Systems. From 1992-2002 he worked as a professor at the National Polytechnic University in Lviv.


Taras Vervega

President, Business Development - EMEA

Mr. Vervega is committed to the growth of the company. He is responsible for sourcing new business in the EMEA region and providing additional value to current clients by partnering with them to understand their needs and business challenges. He represents SoftServe on the board of directors of the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC). This non-profit trade organization was established to advance U.S. companies' trade and investment interests in Ukraine's significant emerging market. Taras is a graduate from the National Polytechnic University in Lviv, and obtained his MBA degree at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.


Juan Turruellas

Executive Vice President and Country Manager

Mr. Turruellas is responsible for driving the company’s aggressive sales and growth strategy. He is accountable for managing all aspects of the Americas' business, including sales, as well as other operational duties. Juan is a proven senior executive with more than 25 years experience in Sales Management, Business Development, International Sales, Professional Services, Product Development, and Enterprise-level Software Solution experience. Prior to SoftServe, Mr. Turruellas served as Executive Vice President of North American Sales and Business Development for Pitney Bowes Software, where he was responsible for more than $185 Million in revenue, while motivating more than 150 associates. During his 11-year tenure, the company’s revenue grew from $25 Million to over $185 Million in North America.


Mary Brandon

Vice President, Marketing

Ms. Brandon brings more than 25 years of marketing experience to her role as Vice President, Marketing, building success in highly competitive entrepreneurial and corporate environments. Previously, she served as VP of Marketing at Duck Creek Technologies, a provider of software and services to the insurance industry. She also has served as Chief Operating Officer and VP of Marketing for BAXL Technologies, a solutions provider that enables the delivery of broadband applications including voice, video and data over existing wiring. Mary started her career with SNET/AT&T spending 21 years within engineering, inventory management, training and marketing.


Yura Vasylyk

Executive Vice President, Delivery

Mr. Vasylyk is responsible for leading and managing the software delivery team of over 1000 people, as well as maintaining a strong relationship with existing and new customers, ensuring efficient and profitable software delivery operations. He obtained his MBA in Management Information Systems at Lally School of Management and Technology, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY


Yaroslav Lyubinets

Executive Vice President, Engineering

Mr. Lyubinets drives all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from requirements and testing, to quality standards and client success. For over ten years, he has been a professor at the National Polytechnic University in Lviv, Ukraine, teaching information systems related courses. Yaroslav is an author of over 20 papers mostly in database management and information systems theory. Yaroslav graduated from the Applied Mathematics Faculty of the Lviv National Ivan Franko University in Lviv, and obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science.


Serhiy Kharytonov

EVP / CTO, Consulting Services

Mr. Kharytonov has worked in the company since 2000, previously in the positions of Vice President of Technology and Vice President of R&D Services. He is responsible for developing and driving SoftServe’s strategy for independent software vendor consulting services. He holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the National Polytechnic University in Lviv, and is currently finishing his PhD. Serhiy is a published writer with articles in eWeek, SandHill and ebizQ.


Renata Chuchmai

Vice President, HR

Ms. Chuchmai is a seasoned professional in development and implementation of cutting-edge HR practices with more than 15-year experience at global companies. At SoftServe she is responsible for implementation of company`s global human resources strategy to ensure strong HR operational support for business, particularly around the identified strategic areas: talent management, leadership development, recruitment, retention and compensation. Renata Chuchmai holds a degree in Foreign Languages and began her career in 1994 with DHL International. She joined Coca-Cola Amatil in 1997 as Administrative Manager; and in 2000 Renata was appointed as Training Manager at Nestle, before moving to Leoni Wiring Systems as HR Director in 2002. Among her professional achievements is formation of company structure from zero to 3500 employees and development of HR marketing strategies for Ukraine, Slovakia, Tunis, Egypt and China.


Vil Ezerins

Chairman of the Board

Mr. Ezerins has extensive experience in enterprise management, particularly on the marketing and business development side. He was a founder of Ezerins Realty in 1979 in Springfield, MA, which invested in bank foreclosed residential apartment buildings. Vil founded Advanced Marketing Concepts and Business West. Later he was a founder of AdMail Corp. in Springfield, MA, the company eventually evolved into AccuData, Inc, a nationwide provider of integrated marketing services, and relocated to Cape Coral, Florida. In 2000, Mr. Ezerins founded Alvion Inc., a technology company serving the direct marketing industry, which was sold to an investor/management group. Alvion included significant operations in Sevastopol, Ukraine.
