SoftServe’s VP of IT receives the Best CIO 2009 award from the leading Ukrainian technology magazine
SoftServe, Inc., a provider of commercial software product design, development, testing and lifecycle services and strategic technologies, today announced that it has been recognized in a nationwide contest, Best CIO 2009, conducted by Computer Review, a leading IT magazine in Ukraine. Adriyan Pavlykevych, SoftServe’s vice president of ІТ was recognized as #1 IT Manager in Ukraine in Service, Consulting and Media (above 500 workstations). The Best CIO 2009 contest was organized with the support of leading global ІТ companies such as Microsoft and Нewlett-Рackard, with total of 102 IT managers participating. After being evaluated in the strict selection procedure, the winners in 10 categories were announced on Dec. 7, 2009.
The key selection criteria of the contest were professional level and personal achievements in development of the participant company’s IT department. SoftServe’s IT department serves its development centers in Ukraine, the United States and the Philippines, supporting hundreds of corporate and project environments and 1,500 workstations.
Under Pavlykevych’s leadership, SoftServe’s ІТ department was reorganized into a service-oriented organization with robust processes, forming the ServiceDesk, IТ-services catalogue, ІТ-service monitoring system establishment, etc.
This notable achievement serves as considerable independent recognition of SoftServe’s unique technical competence, as well as its commitment to exceeding customer needs via the exclusive reliability and professional qualities of its IT department.
