Provenance Data Systems (PDS) builds tools that help companies get real-time feedback from their customers. Pinpoint Feedback is the second product in that suite. It is not an app. It works through the messaging channels people already use, so companies can talk with customers the way customers prefer to talk, a practice known as conversational commerce.
Challenges
PDS had a suite of applications, each holding its own data. The company wanted them connected through one common data platform, so data could move between applications instead of staying locked in each one. PDS also needed a technology stack that could support that integration and its business strategy.
- PDS had little customer feedback to work with.
- It couldn't adopt newer software, whether open-source or SaaS-based.
- Its applications couldn't reach the data they needed to run efficiently.
Solutions
PDS needed an API-driven solution that could scale and take on new applications without heavy engineering each time. It also needed extra technical resources on an as-needed basis to support a stack that matched its business strategy. Above all, data had to move between applications without friction, so PDS could collect customer feedback and give its own customers a better experience.
SoftServe built two products: the PDS platform and its first application. Both exchange data through APIs and integrate with artificial intelligence, cognitive services, machine learning, and multi-channel communication services.
SoftServe also defined PDS's technology stack and created an Architecture Roadmap for customer feedback.
