SoftServe Romania supports education, backing ANIS Grants Program for third consecutive year
BUCHAREST, Romania (June 11, 2026) – SoftServe, a digital engineering and technology services company, reaffirms its commitment to education by supporting the ANIS Grants program for the third consecutive year. The program is a Romanian Software and IT Services Industry Association (ANIS) initiative that encourages innovation in higher education by offering grants to young academics who transform the curriculum through advanced technology and innovative teaching methods. Each selected project will receive a grant worth 5,000 euros.
In 2026, SoftServe Romania continues to support the Big Data category, contributing to the recognition of professors, teaching assistants, and PhD students who integrate cutting-edge technologies and modern pedagogical approaches into university courses and laboratories. Applications for the program will open in September, and the winners will be announced at the ANIS Grants Gala on November 12, 2026, in Timisoara.
For SoftServe, education is an essential element in building a strong and sustainable IT ecosystem. The company supports both the continuous development of its own employees, by providing access to courses and certifications, and the growth of young talent outside the organization, through partnerships with student associations, universities, and nongovernmental organizations with projects dedicated to education.
Now in its ninth year, the ANIS Grants program includes nine categories, two of which are dedicated to non-technical faculties. The program aims to bring academia and the tech industry closer together by recognizing and funding educational initiatives that have a real impact on student training.
Across the previous eight years, 107 projects from 51 faculties across 21 university centers have received grants totaling 535,000 euros. The program has become a strategic platform for collaboration between academia and the tech industry. The grants are supported each year by ANIS member companies.
The program rules and evaluation criteria are available on the ANIS website.
