The free virtual program will bring together university educators and academic leaders from Europe and Latin America for five hands-on online sessions on AI in teaching, research and leadership
What to expect from EDUPRO 2026
The program will feature five online sessions led by academics from Ukrainian universities and SoftServe experts, covering AI leadership, strategies for using AI in higher education, AI-powered teaching, research and development, and security and governance for AI systems.
The line-up pairs technology leaders with university experts. SoftServe’s technical leaders set the direction on AI leadership and the AI-native university, while academics from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and Lviv Polytechnic National University bring the view from the classroom and the lab, from AI-powered teaching to research and security governance.
Participants will explore tools such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT, approaches to integrating AI into teaching and student engagement, and emerging technologies including physical AI. The program will also address responsible AI principles, including privacy, bias, transparency, academic integrity, and human oversight.
AI is changing the way knowledge is created, accessed and shared, and educators are the ones who help students make sense of these changes. That makes their ability to work with AI, question its output and use it responsibly increasingly important. With EDUPRO 2026, we want to give educators practical ways to bring AI into their teaching and research, while learning from peers who are working through the same questions in different parts of the worldVice President of Learning and Development at SoftServe
