SoftServe Expands In Chile With New Office In Chillán To Grow Regional Tech Talent

CHILLÁN, Chile (Nov. 13, 2025) —SoftServe, a premier IT consulting and digital services provider, today announced the opening of a new office in Chillán, Chile, marking its first regional hub outside Santiago. The expansion reinforces SoftServe’s long-term commitment to Chile and its strategy to decentralize digital talent while supporting the country’s growing technology ecosystem.

The new office will serve as a connection hub for associates across southern Chile who provide technology consulting services to international clients. These teams work remotely on projects in AI, cloud development, and digital modernization. Currently, 10 specialists from the region are part of the company, and SoftServe expects to surpass 50 direct hires by the end of 2026, representing nearly one-third of its national workforce in Ñuble.

Why Chillán, Why Now

Chile continues to establish itself as one of Latin America’s most dynamic technology markets, with Ñuble emerging as a promising hub for digital innovation. The region offers a strong academic network — including the University of Concepción, University of Talca, and UCSC — all active partners in SoftServe’s university collaboration programs aimed at aligning education with real industry needs.

SoftServe’s expansion into Chillán reflects both growing client demand and the company’s vision of building sustainable, regionally distributed teams. The new office represents a long-term investment in the growth of Chile’s southern technology corridor and its integration into the global digital economy.

Investing in Local Talent

In parallel with the new office, SoftServe will invest more than $100,000 USD in the next edition of its Ñuble Talent Acceleration Program, designed to train over 100 professionals in high-demand areas such as AI, software development, testing, and cybersecurity.

Since entering Chile in 2022, SoftServe has implemented a sustained talent development strategy through SoftServe Academy, which has already trained more than 600 professionals nationwide. In Ñuble, the acceleration program — launched in collaboration with Corfo and leading universities — enabled over 150 young professionals to complete their training in 2024, 14 of whom have already joined the company.

The project is built on collaboration between the public sector, academia, and the tech industry. Together with Corfo and regional universities, SoftServe is bridging the gap between education and market demand, building lasting professional capabilities, and consolidating Ñuble as a national technology hub.

SoftServe was also the only international company awarded Corfo’s IFI Fund, recognizing its contribution to regional development and the creation of highly specialized jobs outside Santiago.
