SoftServe Wins Silver At 2025 Globee Business Awards For Achievement In Sustainability

AUSTIN, Texas (Dec. 3, 2025) – SoftServe, a premier IT consulting and digital services provider, today announced it has received a Silver Globee Business Award in the Achievement in Sustainability category for its OpenTech pro bono technology program — a global initiative that turns innovation into social good. The Globee Business Awards honor organizations and professionals for outstanding achievements in innovation, leadership, and corporate responsibility across industries worldwide. The Achievement in Sustainability category recognizes companies advancing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives that create measurable, lasting impact.

Developed and led by SoftServe associates, OpenTech connects skilled volunteers with nonprofit, social, and public sector organizations to create technology solutions that address critical community challenges. Over the last five years, the program has become one of SoftServe’s most impactful sustainability efforts, empowering organizations across Ukraine, Poland, Bulgaria, Mexico, and Colombia.

In 2024, more than 590 volunteers delivered 18 pro bono projects, contributing over 25,600 hours to initiatives in education, healthcare, environmental protection, and inclusion.

Among 2024’s most notable projects:

• A reforestation platform with World Wildlife Fund Ukraine , supporting the planting of 3,330 trees across 10,000 square meters of land
• A pet adoption platform helping 500 displaced animals find new homes
• A veterans’ reintegration portal for Veteran Hub, accessed by 126,000 users
• A new website for Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, increasing transparency and civic engagement with 400,000 unique visitors
• A digital platform for the National History Museum of Ukraine, providing access to exhibits for more than 65,000 online visitors

To mark its fifth anniversary, OpenTech launched Open Call 2025, attracting 66 applications from nonprofit and government institutions in six countries. Eight winning projects are now in development, extending the program’s sustainable impact even further.

Since its inception, OpenTech has delivered 65 completed projects and continues to expand globally, reinforcing SoftServe’s belief that technology and human empathy together can drive lasting, positive change.
