This Privacy Policy describes Product’s practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of the information we collect from and about you when you use Product web-based and mobile applications owned by Microsoft Corporation (the “Service”). 

We take our obligations regarding your privacy seriously and have made every effort to draft this Privacy Policy in a manner that is clear and easy for you to understand. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy and Marketplace Terms of Service. 

Information We Collect Automatically

Log Files

Our privacy practices are designed to provide a high level of protection for your data. 

When you use the Service, our servers automatically record certain information in server logs. These server logs include information such as your web request, browser type and settings, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks and how you interact with links on the Service, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, date and time stamp information and other such information. Log files help us to monitor, analyze, improve and maintain the Service and to diagnose and fix any Service-related issues. 

Location Information

We collect and process information about the location of the device from which you are accessing the Service. Location data convey information about how you browse the Service and may be used to improve Service availability. We identify your location based on IP address, IP address is transmitted to identify the location but not stored. 

Our Cookie Policy

Our Service uses Application Insights, a web analytics service provided by Microsoft, Inc. Application Insights uses "cookies", to help analyze how users use Service. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Service will be transmitted to and stored by Microsoft on servers in the USA. Microsoft will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the Service components, compiling reports on activity for operators and providing other services relating to Service activity and internet usage. Microsoft may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Microsoft's behalf. 

Your IP address is used only to identify your geolocation and isn’t stored. 

We do not currently recognize or respond to browser-initiated Do Not Track signals that provide a method to opt out of the collection of information about online activities over time and across third-party websites or online services as there is no consistent industry standard for compliance. 

How We Protect Your Information

The security of your information is important to us. We use commercially reasonable and industry-standard physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your information. For example, we continuously and regularly back up your data to help prevent data loss and aid in data recovery. 

Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not directed to persons under 16 Product does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 16 or knowingly allow such persons to register for an account on the Service. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under age 16 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information. 

International Data Transfer

We do not transfer any personal data internationally or globally. 

Data required to enable linking between your accounts in Microsoft Teams and Atlassian product is transferred, collected and stored on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. 

Whenever we transfer this data, we take steps to protect it. 

Links to Other Web Sites

We are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to from within the Service, nor the information or content contained therein. Please remember that when you use a link to go from the Service to another website, our Privacy Policy is no longer in effect and your activities on that third party website is subject to such third party website’s own rules and policies. 

Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers have a “do not track” feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. We currently do not respond to “do not track” signals. 

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

If we change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this page to keep you aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we may disclose it. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
