LVIV, Ukraine (Oct. 6, 2026) — SoftServe, a global AI and technology services company, today announced reaching a UAH 1 million contribution to the Ukrainian Catholic University scholarship fund “DoNatsiya” (DoNation) in a joint charitable campaign aiming to financially support talented students and professors.
From April to August 2026, SoftServe successfully engaged 570 new donors and doubled every new monthly contribution made to the “DoNatsiya” fund. In total, 2,063 benefactors and the partnership with SoftServe raised more than UAH 6 million specifically for educational scholarships during the 2025–2026 academic year.
Following the decision of the UCU Scholarship Committee, the funds raised through this campaign will cover tuition for eight students and support the academic research of one university professor. Overall, this year the fund provided financial support to 55 students and two professors.
These scholarships provide full or partial tuition coverage for those who need it most, including students from low-income families, orphans, individuals with disabilities, and children of Ukrainian service members. Beyond these criteria, priority was given to students who demonstrated a proactive mindset and a high level of social engagement. Behind every scholarship lies a story of resilience and a genuine desire to advance Ukrainian technology and make a meaningful contribution to society.

For us, the primary goal of this partnership wasn’t financial — it was about engaging a broader community in supporting education. Welcoming 570 new donors to “DoNatsiya” during this joint campaign is the most significant outcome we could have achieved. While SoftServe matched every new contribution, the true impact was driven by hundreds of individuals who support the students on a regular basis. This is how a sustainable culture of philanthropy works — when collective contributions are turned into life-changing opportunities for the students. Today, it is incredibly rewarding to see the individuals behind these efforts and to know this support will empower them to continue their studies, develop their skills, and pursue their ambitionsBoard Member, SoftServe
