SoftServe Meetup: Designing for Sustainability

When

May 17, 2018

Where

SoftServe HQ - Austin, TX

Join us at SoftServe Austin HQ for our latest meetup, “Designing for Sustainability,” for free food, local craft beer, and discussion.

As designers, we have a responsibility not only for the products, services, and interfaces we create, but also for the things we choose to create with or for. In this meet-up, we will discuss how to design with sustainability in mind, using examples of designing sustainable products and services as well as resources to read and follow to stay current in the future.

We have the opportunity not only to make things right, but also to fix mistakes other people might have made. From designing the responsible use of resources, to helping people build sustainable lifestyles, to creating ecosystems that reuse and recycle components, there’s enormous potential in front of us.

We will discuss small decisions that can lead to substantial changes, making a difference for the future.
