SoftServe and Outcomes Based Healthcare have been selected as finalists in the EOA Awards 2016 in the European IT Outsourcing Project of the Year category.

SoftServe and OBH (Outcomes Based Healthcare) have been selected as finalist in the 7th annual EOA Awards, which acknowledge and celebrate the significant achievements of companies who have demonstrated innovation, excellence and best-practice in pan-European outsourcing.

SoftServe and OBH were recognized in the European IT Outsourcing Project of the Year category for the development of the Sense360 smartphone application. Sense360 uses machine learning algorithms to actively and passively monitor outcomes (such as quality of life and how much a person's life is disrupted by care) for people with diabetes by continuously collecting and analyzing massive amounts of data from smartphone sensors.

“We knew that we needed a very experienced and strong team of technology experts, who are both analytical and innovative. We were happy to find this partnership with SoftServe,” explained Dr. Nasrin Hafezparast, CTO and Co-Founder, OBH. “SoftServe did more than just develop a smartphone app, they worked with us as a partnership, taking our research, approach to outcomes measurement and vision, and making it a reality, and even added their own accelerator to the mix.”

“We are very proud that our collaborative work with Outcomes Based Healthcare has been recognized by the European Outsourcing Association,” said Juan Turruellas, EVP World Wide Business Development, SoftServe. “Our team in Eastern Europe are the best and brightest in the industry and by understanding OBH’s business problems and the latest trends, were able to complete this project faster and more efficiently, resulting in greater value for all.”

The Sense360 app also won the Connected Mobility Solution of the Year at the 2016 European IT and Software Excellence awards> and has been shortlisted for several other awards in 2016.

“This year we’ve had an unprecedented number of entries of excellent quality, which really is indicative of the high standard of outsourcing programmes being implemented across Europe. The sheer variety of submissions from both buyers and service providers demonstrates the ever-growing diversity of programmes and collaborations in this dynamic outsourcing industry. The shortlist is truly representative of the best and brightest that European outsourcing has to offer, with innovation, collaboration and customer-centricity inherently featured throughout,” said Kerry Hallard, CEO of the NOA and Director of the EOA.

Winners of the Awards will be announced at the EOA Leadership Summit, in Sofia, Bulgaria, on October 6th.
