Our CSR programs

At SoftServe, our mission is to enable talented people to change the world for the better. The key to fulfilling this mission is our responsibility towards customers, employees, and society at large. We are committed to addressing various economic, social, and environmental issues.

  • social investments

    Since its founding, SoftServe has taken a responsible approach toward business management, supporting a number of formal and informal social programs that benefit local communities. We combine efforts with local businesses, technology and industry organizations, and software development communities to make a difference in the global IT environment. SoftServe is an active member of the European Business Association, the US Chamber of Commerce, Austin Technology Council, Utah Technology Council, the West Chamber of Commerce, IT Ukraine Association, the Association of Business Service Leaders in Poland, the Bulgarian Association of Software Companies, and local IT clusters in Ukraine.

  • education initiatives

    Increasing intellectual capital within our company and within the IT industry in general is one of the key areas of SoftServe’s CSR. To ensure the continuous professional development for our employees, SoftServe University was founded in 2006. It provides a wide range of online and offline trainings, seminars, certifications, and language classes. SoftServe also initiates and supports external activities related to IT education, which deepen technical knowledge, promote an exchange of experience, and develop the IT community. We actively support the development of university programs to improve the quality of IT education.

  • corporate volunteering & charity

    SoftServe supports a variety of local nonprofits through match fundraising, special initiatives, and more. We encourage our employees to donate time, knowledge, and/or experience to support these organizations as well. Additionally, as part of our commitment to a sustainable future, SoftServe founded the Open Eyes Charity fund. This fund supports educational, social, and infrastructure projects of all kinds.

  • Environmental responsibility

    SoftServe cares about reducing our ecological footprint, making our “Go Green” initiative a top priority. Our internal “Go Green” initiative focuses on recycling waste and the careful use of resources and operational eco-efficiency throughout the company. In addition, each spring, SoftServe holds a “Plant a Plant” global event to encourage eco-friendly behavior among our associates.
