We’re proud to announce that SoftServe’s European headquarters has received a “Crystal Brick” award from the Polish Housing Society, which annually identifies the best houses and administrative buildings in ten regions of Poland, Ukraine, and Belarus. This contest is the largest international review of architecture and construction engineering achievements in Eastern Europe.

A recent report from CABE revealed almost 100% of employees say their workplace demonstrates how much their employer values them, while a 2014 survey commissioned by Steelcase confirmed 84% of workers say their current working environment isn’t conducive for concentration.

At SoftServe, we believe experience matters, which extends to the working environments we provide for our employees all over the world. Our offices are more than just a place to work; they are a reflection of our company’s vision, mission, and core values.

Take the Guided Tour

Most corporate offices are associated with fluorescent lights, white walls, cubicles, noise, and endless phone calls. A few years ago, SoftServe set out to destroy these stereotypes.

Finished in April 2015, SoftServe’s European headquarters is a modern seven-story glass building just outside of Lviv. The interior has unique transparent walls with brightly colored accents and motivating quotes, selected not only for the work done on each floor but also the departmental teams in each room.

We like to think our Lviv HQ balances aesthetics with comfort. Here are some of our favorite features:

Julian Chaplinskyy, chief architect, developed an exceptional design incorporating geometric shapes and bright colors.

Each floor has areas for employees to rest as well as informal and formal co-working spaces for employees to gather away from their desks.

Transparent offices create an atmosphere that emphasizes openness and unity. The purpose was to create an office space seemingly without barriers that feels welcoming and but allows for private conversation.

A spacious office gym encourages SoftServe employees to get active and improve their personal health. After a workout, employees can run next door to the café for a freshly squeezed juice.

For many of us, our office is our second home, where we spend an average of 1,500 hours per year. SoftServe’s European headquarters is designed to ensure employees are eager to report for work, dream up innovative ideas, and deliver their best work for our clients. We’re honored to receive this award and share such a beautiful space. Stay tuned for a tour of our new global headquarters in Austin, Texas - slated to open in early March.
